CareCoach

Lake Forest Hospital's Mobile Health Unit, known as the CareCoach, has been reaching the medically under-served population in our area since 1999. This service provides vital health care outreach to men, women and children of all ages.

Thanks to very generous support from donors, our CareCoach takes its free health services and educational programs on the road to a variety of community locations each year. A number of retail establishments, as well as organizations such as county senior centers, village halls and others, are among the CareCoach's regular monthly visit sites. Its services include screenings, counseling with a registered nurse, immunizations and referrals to physicians if needed.
