Join the Lake County Forest Preserve District Celebration

As the Lake County Forest Preserve District celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2008, Lake Forest Hospital is proud to support this milestone as the primary sponsor for “Hike Lake County: 50 for 50”.

This unique opportunity challenges area residents to hike, bike or horseback ride through 50 miles of Lake County Forest Preserve trails before November 30.  Even if you don’t reach the 50-mile mark, it’s a great incentive to get outside, be active, and enjoy the scenery, open spaces and wildlife that Lake County has to offer.

The Lake County Forest Preserve is the second largest forest preserve district in Illinois. Many trails are wheelchair accessible and most welcome dogs on leash. For more information, go to http://www.lcfpd.org/hlc.
