Physical Rehabilitation & Occupational Therapy

New and expanded pediatric therapy services have been designed specifically to treat children (from birth to 21 years of age) with a variety of neurological, developmental and rehabilitative issues. Services are provided for children with gross muscular disorders or problems resulting from injuries. Pediatric patients with the following disorders benefit from treatment: developmental delay, hypotonia, spasticity, cerebral palsy, torticollis, sensory integration disorders, fine or gross motor delay, autism/PDD and childhood orthopedic or sports injuries.

At Lake Forest Hospital, our therapists are certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and are trained in orthopedics, neurological impairments, sports medicine and occupational health injuries.
