Planned Gifts

Many donors choose to work with their financial advisors and our hospital to structure charitable gifts as part of an estate plan and/or to take advantage of tax savings. Gifts of appreciated stock, bequests, and charitable remainder trusts are three of the most popular giving “instruments.”

Pillar Society

Donors who make gifts totaling $2,000 or more in a calendar year are welcomed into The Pillar Society. This special group of friends is recognized for their generosity in our annual donor list published in the annual report.


A. Watson Armour Legacy Society

When you make a planned gift to Lake Forest Hospital, you automatically become a member of the A. Watson Armour III Legacy Society, named for an original benefactor of Lake Forest Hospital and a dedicated friend for more than 50 years. Society members are featured on a beautiful donor wall prominently displayed in the hospital’s Visitor’s Entrance lobby and included in publication donor lists.

 

 

Privacy and Confidentiality
For any gifts made to Lake Forest Hospital, we recognize the importance of privacy in these matters and always respect a donor’s wishes to remain anonymous.

All donor records are held confidential and are never shared with any parties outside the Lake Forest Hospital organization.
